Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) tests electrical equipment with detachable leads and plugs, which is known as Test & Tag.
Examples: computer, laptop charger, extension lead, kettle, fridge etc.
Why PAT is substantial
compliance with WHS regulations.
Ensuring appliances are operating efficiently.
Protection from electrical shocks and fires caused by malfunctioning appliances.
Microwave leakage testing
Microwave testing entails measuring radiation levels around the oven’s exterior to verify they are within limits established by The Radiation Health Committee and Australian Standards.
Microwave ovens heat food using electromagnetic radiation. Microwave ovens can leak electromagnetic radiation if they are utilised while defective or changed. These leaks are difficult to detect without testing equipment. Faulty or worn-out door seals are the most typical cause of microwave oven leaks.
Our qualified technicians test both Electrical Test and Tag and Radiation Leakage according to electrical standard – AS/NZS 3760.
